These two papers are writing samples; one has been published, the other is a graduate essay at CEU. Obviously I'm working on a handful of major articles and a book that will change the face of philosophy as we know it. But for now I won't place any drafts, so you won't steal my brilliant ideas and get tenure at somemajorresearchuniversity. Caveat lector: these two papers are not as intelligent as you are.
- On Quine's Metaphor: 'The Tribunal of Sense Experience' (.pdf) (in Romanian)
Mainly exegetic paper. I explore the idea of a "tribunal of reason" in Hume and Kant, the notion of "sense experience" for the Logical Positivists, and explain the physicalist reading of Quine's metaphor. It has been published in the Scientific Annals of the University of Iasi.
- Davidson and the Problem of Predication (.pdf) (in English)
A critique of Davidson's second half of Truth and Predication (2005) [Amazon], from a deflationary point of view.
